Refund & Cancellation Policy

Singapore Maths Academy

At Singapore Maths Academy, we are committed to providing high-quality tuition and courses. To keep our programmes consistent and fair for all students, we operate under the following refund and cancellation policy.

1. General Policy

  • We operate a strict no-refund policy for all payments once they have been made.

  • This applies to:

    • 1-to-1 tuition

    • Group tuition

    • LIVE courses

    • Pre-recorded courses

    • Hybrid courses (LIVE + recorded for HomeEd parents)

  • Payments cover only the lessons or courses they are made for.

  • We do not charge a cancellation fee.

2. Group Lessons

  • Group classes run on fixed days and times which cannot be changed.

  • If a student misses a group lesson, the lesson will be lost and no refund will be given.

  • End-of-term lessons (e.g., December, April, and Summer holidays) are delivered as pre-recorded sessions.

3. One-to-One Tuition

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule a one-to-one lesson, at least 48 hours’ notice must be given.

  • Requests for rescheduling are subject to availability and approval by Singapore Maths Academy management. We cannot guarantee an alternative slot will be offered.

  • If less than 48 hours’ notice is provided, the lesson will be lost and no refund will be given.

  • If a tutor is unable to attend a scheduled one-to-one session, a pre-recorded lesson will be provided. This may happen up to a maximum of 3 times per academic year.

4. Cancellations of Service

  • To fully cancel tuition services, a minimum of 4 weeks’ notice must be provided.

  • Notice must be submitted in writing to: admin@SingaporeMathsAcademy.co.uk

  • Without written notice, cancellations will not be processed and payments already made will remain non-refundable.

5. Behaviour and Participation

  • Students are expected to behave appropriately during lessons. Poor behaviour may result in removal from sessions without a refund.

  • Parents are responsible for ensuring that students meet the minimum hardware and internet requirements for online sessions (Zoom). No refunds will be given for technical issues on the student’s side.

6. Policy Updates

  • Singapore Maths Academy reserves the right to update this policy at any time. Changes will be communicated via our website or directly to parents.
