Job Title: Chef de Cuisine

Location: Big Sky, Montana

Salary: $75K - $85K

A premier luxury mountain resort offering multiple dining venues, including a year-round restaurant and seasonal culinary experiences such as a food truck and exclusive member lounges. The property provides a unique combination of fine dining and rustic elegance set in a scenic alpine environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of hospitality experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role at a comparable establishment
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred; strong skills in menu development and food cost control
• Proficiency in MS Office; prior experience with inventory and payroll systems strongly preferred

Requirements:

• Must be able to work in a high-paced, high-expectation environment with variable hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to mentor and manage BOH staff effectively
• Capable of meeting physical demands of a professional kitchen, including long hours standing and lifting heavy items

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all BOH operations across multiple outlets, including ordering, scheduling, training, and payroll
• Collaborate with culinary leadership to develop seasonal menus, ensure food quality and presentation standards, and manage inventory and food costs
• Foster a culture of excellence, professionalism, and teamwork while ensuring health and safety compliance in all kitchen areas
