Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the creation of end-user regulatory-compliant product labeling, ensuring alignment with business needs and regulatory standards.
  • Contributing to new product development and design change activities, including designing and releasing labels, developing artwork and images, and improving processes for efficiency and compliance.
  • Engaging with and mobilizing cross-functional teams, effectively resolving obstacles to meet labeling objectives.
  • Managing a high and varied workload from internal customers, demonstrating a high level of service and responsibility, and comfortably working to tight timelines.
  • Providing weekly summaries of activities, creating project plans, prioritizing tasks, and effectively communicating updates to internal customers.
  • Following Good Document Practices (GDP) for all documentation created and reviewed, and staying current on all required training for the incumbent position.
  • Researching and building comprehensive knowledge about products, services, technology, and test methods, then documenting them in the clearest, most logical way for greatest reader comprehension.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives (addressing NCs and CAPAs), assessing current procedures, generating quality plans, and identifying best practices.
  • Preparing for internal and external audits by gathering records, supporting backroom activities, and providing explanations for design areas developed by self with auditors in the Front Room.
  • Leading recertification and other compliance projects by managing key activities with stakeholders to execute required changes and sometimes determining alternate design directions.
  • Fully supporting the Quality Policy by building quality into all aspects, maintaining compliance to all quality requirements, and supporting improvements that simplify compliance in complex areas.
  • Demonstrating extensive application of knowledge through delivering high-quality to ensure continuity of content style that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience.
  • Maintaining strong attention to detail, reviewing, and auditing other technical publications deliverables, and consistently delivering quality documentation with no escapes.
  • Leading structured problem-solving initiatives to resolve complex technical issues and documenting solutions within appropriate quality system documentation.
  • Executing the creation and refinement of department and quality system SOPs, Work Instructions, forms, and templates that have considerable graphical content with minimal supervision, as regulations change and quality systems merge/align.
  • Providing input to the creation of training and communication materials that can be used by self or other staff to convey new or updated processes.
  • Experienced in modifying existing and creating new Quality System documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphics or Language, or equivalent experience.
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience (an advanced degree may be considered towards years of experience).
  • Demonstrated application of database-driven labeling systems such as Prisym ID, Label View, Loftware, Bartender, Nice Label, and Easy Label.
  • Experience in website design and testing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite (InDesign, FrameMaker, Photoshop, and Illustrator).
