Junior Architect

Firm Description:

Taylor Lombardo Architects is an award-winning architecture firm located in downtown San Francisco. Our firm specializes in high-end residential and winery design.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in architecture

- 2 years minimum of project experience (5 years preferred)

- Highly skilled in C.A.D drafting

- Profound knowledge of architectural buildings and systems

- Profound knowledge of sustainability, integrated design, and LEED guidelines

- Proficiency in modeling using 3D software, such as CAD, Revit, Vectorworks, and/or Rhino

- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and/or SketchUp

- Profound knowledge of building codes and accessibility requirements

- Ability to communicate with clients in a polite and timely manner

- Ability to effectively meet deadlines

- Basic knowledge of the Bay Area/Napa Valley

- We are an all Mac office – must be familiar with Apple/Mac interface

Taylor Lombardo Architects is seeking a Junior Architect that can take on the following responsibilities. Please note, we have a strong focus on high-end residential design and wineries:

- Create and transform sketches/documents into 3D models and images

- Participate in all project phases (conceptual design, presentation, schematic design, design development, and attend site visits)

- Collaborate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors to meet project goals and client expectations

- Produce graphic presentations and 3D renderings

- Prepare and modify architectural documents

- Meet concrete deadlines on aggressive schedules

- Develop a comprehensive understanding of client requirements and deliver on said requests

- Prepare thorough 3D presentations and design drawings

- Conduct product research and assist fellow architects and designers with other projects as needed
