Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and report HSE metrics; maintain compliance records and systems.
• Ensure alignment with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards; conduct internal audits and risk assessments.
• Lead incident investigations and follow up with corrective and preventive actions.
• Deliver HSE training and conduct safety orientations for employees and contractors.
• Support emergency response planning and facilitate drills.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and liaise with medical providers as needed.
• Review and approve materials/chemicals for facility use per regulatory and internal requirements.
• Oversee waste management and recycling programs.
• Manage HSE budget and support cross-functional safety initiatives.
• Lead safety committee activities and promote a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Associate degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field; Bachelor’s preferred.
• 3+ years of HSE experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• OSHA 40-hour certification required.
• ISO 14001 and 45001 internal auditing experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local safety/environmental regulations.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and digital HSE platforms.
• Willingness to support off-shift needs and emergency situations.
