Job Description:
Our client in the Medicare Advantage space is seeking a Compliance Analyst to support regulatory initiatives and ensure adherence to CMS guidelines. This contract position runs through the end of the year and is onsite 5 days per week in Frisco, TX . The Compliance Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Compliance Program, conducting audits, managing regulatory filings, and assisting with CMS-related activities.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor and interpret CMS regulations, guidance, and updates relevant to Medicare Advantage.
• Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Compliance Program, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct internal audits and monitoring activities to ensure CMS, state, and federal compliance.
• Assist with CMS program audits and data validation efforts.
• Investigate and support resolution of potential compliance issues.
• Maintain logs, documentation, and reports for oversight and audits.
• Collaborate with operational teams during carrier audits and gather required documentation.
• Review member communications, marketing materials, and vendor agreements for compliance.
• Assist with training and education efforts related to Medicare Advantage compliance.
• Support the preparation and submission of regulatory reports and filings.
• Serve as backup for licensing and regulatory support, including TPA license renewals and SOS filings.
• Support the COO/Compliance Officer with proofreading contracts, maintaining contract records, and updating policies and procedures.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
• 3+ years of experience in Insurance or Medicare, with a focus on Compliance or Legal support.
• Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to draft professional correspondence and address member complaints.
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.
• Demonstrated discretion when handling confidential information.
• Capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
• Professional maturity and sound judgment.
Pay Range:
$28 – $33 per hour
