Job Description

Insight Global is actively seeking Ride Assistants (RAs) to support a client's mission of providing safe, reliable transportation for students in the Pittsburgh, PA area. This is a contract opportunity ideal for individuals with a background in childcare who are passionate about supporting students with unique needs, including those who are differently abled or from underserved communities.

Two shifts: 1. Morning shift from 7:30AM to 9:30AM OR 2. Afternoon shift from 2:30PM to 5:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Accompany students and drivers during transportation to ensure safety and supervision.
• Support students with special needs during rides to and from school or after-school programs.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, students, and school personnel to ensure a smooth and safe experience.
• Maintain a calm, supportive presence during rides, especially in high-stress or emergency situations.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of childcare experience (e.g., parent, grandparent, babysitter, nanny, teacher’s aide, etc.).
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a smartphone and a reliable means of transportation to get to job sites.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for working with children and making a positive impact in the community.

Compensation:

$23/hr minimum per shift.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
