We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist, Part Time or Full Time to join our team! We are a small private practice that serves the pediatric population in developmental day preschools and within private practice. Our team values communication and clinical development while maintaining flexibility for developing a caseload that works for you. Experienced clinical support will be provided with opportunities to create a caseload that works for you.  This is a great opportunity for an experienced SLP who is looking to be valued and supported with a manageable caseload. We support each other and provide an environment full of gratitude Direct treatment time and indirect time compensated for!  You’ll be part of a collaborative team that values inclusion and takes a multidisciplinary approach to care. We offer flexibility in building your caseload, with the option to take on additional private speech therapy clients if desired. You’ll benefit from regular collaboration with our lead SLP and team meetups that create space for shared learning, meaningful connection, and mutual support. We deeply value our therapists and are currently seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist with a passion for working with pediatric clients.

We are a company that provides Speech, Language and Feeding Therapy Services in the home or in the preschool environment. Our practice is built upon strong communication with families and caregivers. While providing effective therapy in their natural environment to promote success in everyday activities, addressing:

· Feeding and Swallowing

· Articulation/Phonology

· Social Language

· Receptive and Expressive Language

· Augmentative Communication AAC

· Oral Motor Function

· Apraxia

It is important to include caregivers into therapy practice to teach what works and more importantly collect feedback from those that know the child the best! The child and the family's needs are always considered when developing communication and feeding skills plan within their natural environment. We believe each child is different and every plan is not the same. Next we provide the family with the evaluation report and the plan for therapy paired with caregiver education to build awareness for goals and strategies that can be quickly embedded into home practice. We take our knowledge and experience to better help your child's development. Our therapy practices surround play and use of strong communication intent practices. Children learn from cause and effect play, "If I say something, I get something".  We are here to reward your child with positive feedback to promote development of skills to their fullest potential.

We have positions available to support developmental day preschool settings and private practice. This is a unique opportunity to work in a small preschool setting with an experienced team and participate on small IEP teams to build therapy programs that benefit the child. While supporting children with private practice within there natural environment. Reimbursement includes therapy time, completion of documentation, IEP meetings if applicable and collaboration with teat members. Team oriented care using teacher, ST and OT collaboration as well as related services from Wake County Schools (vision and feeding, etc). We have recently begun having AI assist without our documentation streamlining SOAP notes, POC and evaluations as well as supporting data collection. This has been a huge benefit to our practice.

Responsibilities:

· Occasional evaluations if needed at the preschool level, assessment materials provided.

· Treat pediatric population with heavy emphasis in early intervention and preschool age.

· Complete documentation to support IEP process/POC development.

· Establish treatment goals and milestones with patients.

· Document and complete dynamic treatment plans and progress reports.

· Update patient progress to teacher, family and relevant documentation.

· Communicate with families, team, and lead SLP.

· Maintain ASHA CEU requirements.

· Comply with ASHA code of ethics.

· Complete all documentation and records in a timely and accurate manner.

Qualifications:

· Previous experience in speech pathology or other related fields.

· Complete clinical competency preferred, but not required.

· Organization skills and ability to be creative are a plus.

· Ability to build rapport with patients.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· At least a Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech Language Pathology

· Active Speech Language Pathologist license as approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology in NC

Specifications about the position:

· Part-time/Full time. Build your own caseload. No productivity expectations unless you need medical benefits.

Job Type: Part-time/Full time

Salary: $35.00 - $44.00 per hour, compensation is dependent on experience and independence.
