JOB TITLE: Repacking Temp
JOB LOCATION: Lincolnshire
JOB TYPE: Temp
PAY: $17/ Hour
SHIFT: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
About the Role:
● Pick, pack, and process product for domestic orders, ensuring accuracy
● Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to sequence
● Open crates and move materials from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other areas
● Ensure materials are packaged securely to prevent damage
● Process shipments per customer instructions
● Routinely enter and extract data from computer systems
● Maintain an orderly and safe work environment, including general housekeeping
● Support co-workers in other departments as needed
● Follow all safety guidelines, department, and corporate policies
Qualification Requirements for Repacking Temp:
● High school diploma or equivalent
● 1–2 years prior warehouse experience required; 3–5 years preferred
● Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
● Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and understanding weights/measures
● Ability to follow instructions, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
● Working knowledge of packaging methods
● Basic computer skills (word processing, spreadsheet applications)
Special Circumstances of the Repacking Temp:
● Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly
● Must be able to walk, stand, stoop, bend, reach, push, and pull for long periods
● Ability to drive a car and climb step ladders up to 15 feet
● Must wear steel-toed shoes at all times
● Work primarily in a warehouse environment with exposure to temperature changes, noise, and moving equipment
● May involve working around chemicals and performing tasks in potentially loud environments
