QA Test Lead, Mobile

Location: Redmond, WA (On-Site)

Wheeler Staffing Partners is hiring an experienced QA Test Lead, Mobile for a full-time, direct hire, on-site role in Redmond, WA . This position offers the opportunity to lead QA testing for mobile applications in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. You’ll manage multiple testers, ensure quality from a customer perspective, and drive testing best practices in both lab and production settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain test cases and documentation
• Execute manual and automated tests
• Manage client SIMs and testing devices
• Identify and triage defects using JIRA, Rally, or Quality Center
• Provide testing updates, escalate issues, and maintain documentation
• Mentor and manage QA team members
• Lead meetings and deliver clear test status reports
• Conduct domestic and international roaming testing as needed
• Support off-hours testing (nights/weekends) based on project requirements

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience as a QA Test Lead
• 5+ years of QA or software testing experience
• Strong understanding of SDLC (Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall)
• Proficient in test tools such as JIRA, Rally, Quality Center
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred
• ISTQB Certification preferred
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
• Ability to manage resources and adapt to changing priorities
• Experience in mobile testing and client-server environments
