Rizing, Consumer Industries is seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager and Cutover Lead with SAP retail or SAP fashion experience to join a large-scale fashion project in Clark, New Jersey. On-site weekly requirement: three days per week.
The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach, strong project management experience, and seasoned task tracking and people communication and coordination skills. Experience as a cutover lead in previous SAP transformations at a global or large-scale level will be a key requirement as well.
Responsibilities:
• Work with the business and technical leadership teams in developing a cutover strategy
• Identify critical cutover activities and dependencies
• Develop the overall plan, tasks, schedules, budgeting and resources to support the production cutover
• Conduct cutover communication sessions with project team, business cutover coordinators and application support teams
• Manage cutover operations center to track status, report/resolve/escalate issues during cutover execution
• Experience in preparing Cutover and executing Plans, Cutover Communications with various Business as well as IT Stakeholders, Preparing and executing Backout Plan etc.,
• Act as a local guardian and drive the Cutover methodology and Cutover tools to be used during the project and triage for any cutover related issues between respective teams responsible for cutover activities.
• Point of Contact for Deployment Queries, Deployment Windows.
• Assist local teams within a region with cutover activities in alignment with the Global template and track the advancement of cutover activities to go-live.
• Ensure that technical and functional teams from all vendors have all the information needed to complete cutover tasks
• Handle all project management responsibilities, supporting the team
• Available to travel three days per week to client location
Required Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in finance, Computer Science, MIS, Business, or related field
• 10+ years of IT experience with Cutover experience on SAP rollouts (ECC & SAP S/4 HANA)
• Multiple Full Systems Life Cycle solution deployment in vital positions for the domain
• Should have experience working on projects with global stakeholders and multi region landscapes
• Advanced ability to communicate effectively with local, global, and cross-divisional & global virtual teams
• Strong experience of identifying and resolving issues between team members or other teams.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail / detail oriented
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general PC knowledge
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• SAP S/4 HANA Cutover Experience
• Able to work in multi-vendor / partner environment
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills along with soft skills
