Job Description

This is an in person, Monday-Friday position at our Kenosha location 5021 Washington Rd Suite A, Kenosha, WI 53144

Nurse Practitioner (NP) will provide high-quality care to patients by performing a wide range of medical services, including diagnosing and treating illnesses, conducting physical exams, prescribing medications, and managing patient care plans. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, a commitment to patient-centered care, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and obtain detailed patient histories.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, including illnesses, infections, and injuries.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
  • Prescribe medications, therapies, and other treatments in accordance with state regulations.
  • Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and treatment options.
  • Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and prescriptions.
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Advocate for patient needs and preferences, ensuring culturally competent care.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.
  • Stay current with advancements in medical practice through ongoing professional development and continuing education

Qualifications :

  • Master’s degree in nursing (MSN) from an accredited program.
  • Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state
  • At least 2-3 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred.
  • Experience in Oral Surgery is a plus.
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Certifications:
  • National certification as a Nurse Practitioner in a relevant specialty area (e.g., FNP, ANP, PNP).
  • BLS/ACLS certification required.
