Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers and hospital systems, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and challenges.
  • Demonstrate complex medical devices to medical professionals, showcasing product features and benefits through hands-on demonstrations and technical presentations.
  • Provide technical product training to clinical staff, ensuring they are fully equipped to use the equipment safely and effectively.
  • Develop and implement territory growth strategies, identifying new business opportunities and expanding market reach.
  • Manage sales pipeline in CRM, ensuring accurate and timely updates on sales activities and customer interactions.
  • Coordinate with clinical specialists for product evaluations, facilitating trials and feedback sessions to ensure satisfaction and adoption.
  • Maintain detailed account records, tracking customer interactions, sales progress, and follow-up actions.
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape, staying informed of industry developments to identify strategic opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, maintaining an understanding of relevant laws and guidelines to protect the company and its clients.
  • Participate in medical conferences and trade shows, such as the Annual American College of Surgeons Clinical Congress, to network with industry professionals and promote products.
  • Conduct regular field visits to healthcare facilities, providing on-site support and addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns tailored to the territory’s needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Business, providing a solid foundation in relevant knowledge areas.
  • Proven medical sales experience, with a track record of success in the healthcare industry.
  • Strong understanding of hospital purchasing processes, enabling effective negotiation and sales strategies.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring ethical and legal conduct.
  • Excellent presentation and demonstration skills, with the ability to engage and persuade diverse audiences.
  • Ability to build relationships with medical professionals, fostering trust and long-term partnerships.
  • Strong technical aptitude for learning complex products, allowing for effective communication of technical information.
  • Clean driving record and professional appearance, as regular travel within the territory is required.
  • Willingness to travel frequently, with a focus on the Santa Ana region and surrounding areas.
  • Familiarity with the local healthcare landscape in Santa Ana, including key hospital systems and decision-makers.
