Mechanical Designer (Temp-to-Hire) – Kennesaw, GA

Our client, a well-established manufacturer of precision sheet metal products , is seeking a Mechanical Designer to join their growing team. This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity with the goal of bringing you on as a long-term, direct employee.

What You’ll Do:

• Create and revise production drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• Draft detailed multi-view drawings for manufacturing
• Collaborate with sales and manufacturing teams to clarify design intent
• Apply knowledge of machines, materials, and manufacturing methods to improve efficiency
• Maintain documentation within the SolidWorks PDM system

What We’re Looking For:

• 1+ years of SolidWorks experience and AutoCAD
• 1+ years in sheet metal design or metal-fabricated product design (other product design considered)
• Understanding of drafting techniques and design terminology
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
