Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Work Type: 100% Onsite
Hire Type: Contract to Hire
Shape the Future of Manufacturing
We’re looking for a Manufacturing Engineer ready to roll up their sleeves and dive into a fast-paced, high-mix environment. If you're passionate about building smart, scalable production processes—and thrive at the intersection of design, automation, and continuous improvement—this is your next move.
What You’ll Do:
Develop and refine manufacturing processes that meet schedule, budget, and quality targets.
Design and optimize production layouts, equipment setups, and workflows for maximum efficiency.
Lead new product introductions from concept to production, ensuring seamless transitions.
Apply root cause analysis to equipment failures, define maintenance requirements, and develop hands-on troubleshooting capabilities.
Work cross-functionally with engineers, production teams, and customers to solve problems and implement continuous improvements.
Develop and update PFMEAs, control plans, work instructions, and technical documents.
Provide technical insight on product designs to ensure they’re manufacturable, cost-effective, and meet customer requirements.
Use CAD (SolidWorks) and analytical tools to bring ideas to life and drive data-backed decisions.
Support the business with cost estimates, statistical analysis, and future capacity planning.
What You Bring to the Team:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field).
3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing engineering role—ideally in a high-mix or custom build-to-order environment.
Strong background in process development, with exposure to electrical assembly preferred.
Proficiency with CAD tools (SolidWorks) and MS Office.
Experience working on cross-functional teams, especially around new product launches and product improvement.
Comfortable contributing to lean manufacturing, quality control, and hands-on problem solving on the floor.
