International Logistics Coordinator

Bergen County, NJ | Growing Home Goods Manufacturer

Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and ready to keep global supply chains moving smoothly? Join our employee-friendly and rapidly growing home goods manufacturer as an International Logistics Coordinator . In this role, you’ll manage the movement of goods worldwide—working with factories, carriers, and customs brokers to ensure shipments arrive on time and in full compliance with regulations.

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate with factories to schedule and oversee the loading and shipment of ocean containers.
  • Manage customs clearance by working closely with customs brokers for timely, compliant transfers.
  • Arrange drayage services and inland transportation with carriers.
  • Select the best shipping methods (ocean or air freight) based on cost, timing, and reliability.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain accurate import documentation.
  • Compile, verify, and organize shipment data in company systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to troubleshoot and resolve shipment issues.
  • Support supply chain projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience handling international logistics, including ocean containers, customs clearance, drayage, and air freight.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proactive problem solver who can resolve logistics challenges quickly and effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration across partners and teams.
