Job Description

Position Summary: The Loeffler Randall Keyholder will embody a positive, customer-centric attitude and focus on creating lasting relationships with each guest in the store. They will provide an energetic environment around the product and create thoughtful experiences for anyone who enters. This role will act as a brand ambassador that reflects the company’s values, aesthetics, and entrepreneurial spirit. Additionally, the Keyholder will lead by example, overseeing store operations and supporting team members to ensure a seamless and engaging customer experience. They will also assist in training and mentoring new staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment.

Essential Functions:

· Responsible for securely opening and closing the store, including managing the alarm system, ensuring all entry points are locked, and performing end-of-day procedures

· Oversee cash register operations, including balancing the till, preparing bank deposits, and ensuring accurate cash handling by all associates

· Act as the point of contact for store associates in the absence of the Store Manager and the Assistant Store Manager, providing guidance, support, and direction to maintain store operations and customer service standards.

· Greet and engage with each customer

· Facilitate an energized pace and service-oriented mindset

· Provide courteous, helpful, and efficient service to customers in all areas of the store, including the sales floor and fitting area

· Speak effectively to product knowledge, including how items fit, material information, sustainability, and other key features to assist customers in their purchasing decisions

· Share brand and company story, including charity partners, sustainability efforts, and other areas important to our business to engage and educate customers

· Maintain productive customer relationships and provide an approachable, inspiring and personalized shopping experience

· Engage with the local community and partake in store events, outreach opportunities, and in special in-store events

· Develop client relationships through consistent outreach related to new product, sales, recent purchases, or store events

· Uphold all store policies and procedures

· Write a thorough e-mail recap of sales, traffic, and customer connections when closing the store

· Manage the opening and closing store checklist

· Support training for the store team on the customer experience and communicate any customer service needs or concerns to Store Manager and appropriate HQ partners

· Participate in regular inventory counts document and communicate any inventory variances to appropriate partners

· Uphold the high standard of organization and cleanliness on the sales floor, back stock area, fitting room, and restrooms

· Maintain integrity of all visual display presentations

· Support Retail Management in projects as needed

· Utilize available resources, such as the Loeffler Randall website and product knowledge materials, to stay up to date with LR product launches, company news and community outreach

· Adhere to the dress code and inspire the retail team by bringing your personal style to the role and dressing in LR inspired looks

· Act as the point of contact for employee concerns or issues during shifts when the Store Manager or Assistant Manager are not present, promptly escalating matters to management for resolution

· Support the store in achieving sales goals by driving customer engagement, maximizing sales opportunities, and assisting with team motivation and performance during shifts

Education and Experience:

· Minimum high school diploma or equivalent

· Minimum of 3 years of retail experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Experience in a retail environment, understanding customer service standards, including providing courteous, helpful, and efficient service

· Awareness of effective sales strategies and techniques for engaging customers and driving sales

· Strong verbal communication skills for greeting customers, sharing product knowledge, and conveying the brand story

· Ability to engage and connect with customers, providing an inspiring and personalized shopping experience

· Ability to adapt to a fast-paced retail environment and facilitate an energized pace in the store

· Ability to stay informed and up to date with product launches, company news, and community outreach efforts

· Ability to represent the brand in a positive and professional manner, both in-store and during community outreach activities

· Frequent movement around the store, including bending, stooping, reaching, and crouching.

· Ability to lift and carry items typically weighing up to 25-50 pounds.

· Maintain a high energy level; comfortable performing multi-faceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities

· Regularly required to speak clearly and hear the spoken word as well

· Regularly required to read and write clearly
