Title : Inventory Manager

Location : Negaunee, Michigan

Details : Ongoing contract with opportunity for direct hire, fully onsite position

Pay Rate : $28.00 – 32.00/hr.

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-directed Inventory and Document Coordinator to support inventory operations and documentation processes across multiple sites. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, capable of working independently, and comfortable communicating with personnel at all levels.

Responsibilities

Inventory Management (50%–70%)

• Serve as the primary point of contact for inventory support.
• Receive and process items for all sites.
• Manage SAP material additions.
• Conduct cycle counts across all regional locations.
• Coordinate warehouse inventory support, including storage locations and stock management.
• Maintain plant-ready stores, including disbursements, cycle counts, and replenishments.
• Transport inventory items between warehouse locations as needed.

Purchase Request Management (~10%)

• Support the inventory item ordering process.
• Manage orders for Lube Oil and Urea deliveries.

Document Management (~5%)

• Conduct monthly waste inspections.
• Maintain compliance with PG-905 TCA and RM Procedure and PG-908 Control System Change Procedure.
• Prepare monthly reports and manage shipping documentation.

Shipping Coordination (~5%)

• Coordinate outbound and inbound shipping logistics.

Years of Experience and Education

• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in inventory or warehouse operations.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.

Skills Required

• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize workflow.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Comfortable interacting with all levels of personnel.
• Proficiency with SAP or similar inventory management systems is a plus.
