Position : Community Vocational Specialist
Location : Richmond, CA
Hours : Monday-Friday (37.5 hours per week)
8:00am-3:30pm OR 9:00am-4:30pm
Compensation : $22.50 per hour

Make a difference in the lives of adults with disabilities! As a Community Vocational Specialist you'll play a crucial role in our dynamic team, helping adults with disabilities achieve their employment goals and gain greater independence.

What You'll Do:

Lead small groups in diverse activities like volunteer work, job training, and social skills development, all tailored to individual aspirations.
Collaborate with participants to craft schedules and goals that reflect their unique needs and interests.
Develop essential work-related skills, address identified barriers, and celebrate milestones on the path to meaningful employment.
Foster supportive relationships with participants, families, and community partners to create a network for success.
Assist with program development, implementation, and review, ensuring its effectiveness in empowering individuals.

Qualifications:

2 years' experience assisting people with disabilities or social service experience
1 year of experience in a relevant field such as; rehabilitation, retail, production, or food service (preferred)
Valid CA driver's license & reliable car (required)
Bachelor's degree (preferred)
