Job Description Position: Financial Systems Analyst Location: San Diego, CA (Hybrid) Type: Permanent Salary: $65,000 - $75,000/PA Overview: This is an exciting opportunity for a tech-savvy finance professional with experience in ERP and accounting systems. The Financial Systems Analyst will work within the Corporate Accounting department and serve as a key liaison between Accounting, Finance, IT, and Internal Audit. The role focuses on system maintenance, user support, documentation, reporting, and cross-functional project management. Systems exposure includes NetSuite, Concur, and Blackline. Key Responsibilities: Maintain daily operations of financial systems like NetSuite, Concur, and Blackline Provide technical support to end-users and resolve system-related issues Document processes, testing results, project plans, and audit compliance material Analyze and track system data changes, user access logs, and application configurations Coordinate with users to troubleshoot issues and propose system enhancements Generate custom financial reports to meet user-specific needs Ensure internal controls and compliance procedures are followed Work with vendors and consultants to resolve open tickets Contribute to process improvements and system efficiency initiatives Requirements: ~ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (IT coursework preferred) ~ CPA preferred ~2–5 years of financial systems experience ~ Hands-on experience with ERP systems—NetSuite preferred ~ Exposure to Concur, Blackline, and working across global entities is a plus ~ Basic Excel proficiency (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.) ~ Understanding of GAAP and financial reporting concepts ~ Strong communication, analytical, and documentation skills ~ Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
