Job Description

Join our team and take charge of maintaining a safe, efficient, and secure workplace. In this role, you'll oversee preventative maintenance, handle emergency repairs, and support ongoing facility improvements. You'll also play a key role in managing our security systems, monitoring access control, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and assess potential workplace hazards related to processes, materials, personal protective equipment (PPE), hazardous materials (HazMat), and machinery.
  • Develop and enforce safety policies, procedures, and protocols to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.
  • Promote the company’s culture and values, reinforcing safety policies and a positive attitude toward organizational goals.
  • Investigate safety incidents and near misses to determine root causes, recommend corrective actions, and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Design and deliver safety training programs to ensure all employees understand and adhere to safety protocols and best practices.
  • Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations, as well as industry-specific standards.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop, implement, and regularly test emergency response plans, conducting drills to ensure employee readiness.
  • Collaborate with departments such as Engineering, Operations, and Human Resources to foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Analyze safety performance data to identify trends, evaluate the effectiveness of safety initiatives, and guide strategic decisions.
  • Prepare safety reports for management and regulatory bodies, ensuring accurate OSHA recordkeeping and reporting.
  • Oversee maintenance programs for building facilities and supervise maintenance staff to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Implement and monitor loss prevention strategies, including the supervision of security personnel and surveillance operations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall safety and facility operations.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, building operations, or a related field
  • Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems
  • Experience with security systems, access control, and surveillance equipment
  • Familiarity with safety regulations, building codes, and OSHA standards
