Position Summary

The Cybersecurity Intern will work closely with our security and IT teams to assist in protecting the organization's systems, networks, and data. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools, real-world security challenges, and exposure to industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM tools.
• Assist in vulnerability scanning and risk assessments.
• Help investigate and respond to security incidents and alerts.
• Support the implementation of security policies and procedures.
• Research emerging cybersecurity threats and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Document findings, create reports, and assist with technical documentation.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to support secure system configurations.

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, operating systems (Windows), and cybersecurity principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Awareness of common threats like phishing, malware, and DDoS attacks.
