Job Title: Contract Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Location: Springdale Health and Rehab – Springdale, AR

Schedule: 6-Week Contract | $35/hr | Full-Time | Weekend Doubles Available

Springdale Health and Rehab is now hiring Contract LPNs for a limited-time 6-week assignment offering $35/hour . We are seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) with at least one year of long-term care experience who are ready to jump in and provide excellent care with minimal onboarding. This is an ideal opportunity for professionals looking for flexible, short-term work with competitive pay.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide direct nursing care and administer medications and treatments (oral, IV, injections, etc.).
2. Perform wound care , dressing changes, and infection monitoring.
3. Monitor and manage residents with chronic conditions such as diabetes, CHF, COPD, and hypertension.
4. Complete and document assessments , mental status exams, and fall risk evaluations.
5. Deliver compassionate end-of-life care and communicate effectively with families.
6. Lead CNA teams on shift, complete reports, and ensure smooth unit operations.
7. Implement and follow infection control , fall prevention , and resident safety protocols.
8. Respond appropriately to emergencies and ensure proper documentation and communication.

Qualifications:

1. Active, unencumbered LPN license in Arkansas
2. At least 1 year of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility
3. Ability to begin immediately and commit to a full 6-week contract
4. Strong medication administration and assessment skills
5. Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork

Preferred Skills:

1. Familiarity with electronic documentation systems
2. Solid understanding of state regulations and compliance practices
3. Experience supervising CNAs or leading shift care teams
4. Comfortable managing complex residents and prioritizing care needs
