Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, providing exceptional service to clients and ensuring their insurance needs are met effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored insurance solutions.
  • Review and analyze client insurance policies, ensuring coverage is adequate and up-to-date.
  • Assist clients with policy renewals, endorsements, and claims.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments for clients and recommend appropriate coverage options.
  • Collaborate with underwriters to ensure competitive pricing and coverage.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and policy details in the agency management system.
  • Prepare and present reports and insurance proposals to clients.
  • Work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities for new business.
  • Mentor and train junior staff as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and changes in commercial insurance.
  • Attend industry conferences and training sessions as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Valid insurance license (Property & Casualty).
  • 3+ years of experience in commercial lines insurance, preferably in account management.
  • Strong understanding of various commercial insurance products (general liability, property, workers' compensation, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
