Your Role: Cleaning Validation Engineer

PSC Biotech is seeking an experienced Cleaning Validation Engineer to lead and execute validation activities that support regulatory compliance and product quality in life science manufacturing environments.

In this position, you will:

  • Develop and execute cleaning validation protocols, including risk assessments, sampling plans, procedures, and acceptance criteria
  • Conduct cleaning validation studies for equipment and processes in accordance with regulatory and quality standards
  • Perform swab sampling, rinse sampling, and visual inspections to verify cleaning effectiveness
  • Execute recovery studies as needed
  • Support cleaning validation training programs
  • Analyze study data, identify process risks or deficiencies, and implement corrective improvements
  • Prepare, review, and maintain detailed documentation to ensure audit readiness and compliance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on project scope and objectives
  • Provide technical guidance, resolve challenges, and support corrective actions
  • Participate in broader project tasks to ensure successful execution

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science or a related engineering discipline
  • Minimum of 7 years of cleaning validation experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
  • Strong knowledge of industry regulations, GMP, and quality standards
  • Demonstrated expertise in protocol development, documentation, and risk assessment
  • Experience with rinse sampling, swab sampling, and visual inspection techniques
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • High attention to detail and commitment to regulatory compliance
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel for client engagements and ability to adapt to various work environments
  • Experience with Total Organic Carbon (TOC) analysis in cleaning validation is an asset
