Summary

Footprints Learning Center of Fountain Inn is a licensed, faith-based childcare center committed to nurturing the whole child?spiritually, socially, emotionally, physically, and academically. We serve children from toddlers through school age, including First Steps 4K, preschool, and after-school programs. Our mission is to provide a safe, supportive, and enriching environment that fosters creativity, curiosity, and character. We value strong family partnerships, hands-on learning, and a team-oriented workplace where every staff member plays a meaningful role in a child?s development.

Duties

  • Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
  • Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities and lesson plans.
  • Foster a positive, supportive environment that encourages learning and creativity.
  • Monitor children's behavior and development, maintaining records and communicating with parents/guardians regularly.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a smooth and effective program.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom and adhere to health and safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development
  • Ability to create a warm, nurturing, and responsive environment
  • Familiarity with early childhood developmental milestones and appropriate practices
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain a calm, patient demeanor under pressure
  • Physical ability to actively engage with children, including lifting, bending, sitting on the floor, and participating in outdoor play
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean environment
  • Willingness to follow center policies, licensing regulations, and health/safety protocols
  • Ability to work collaboratively with coworkers, families, and administrators
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred but not required: certification, e.g., ECD 101.
  • Experience in Childcare
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or will obtain).
