CDL A Truck Driver – Dedicated Route (Gastonia, NC) Home Daily – Weekly Guarantee Pay

Advance Auto / CARQUEST is hiring CDL A Truck Drivers for a dedicated account. This is a steady, consistent route delivering auto parts to Advance Auto stores. Our drivers are home daily with only the occasional layover (1–2 per week). You'll run 1,500–1,800 miles per week with multiple stops per load using liftgate trailers and electric pallet jacks.
Home daily (occasional layovers possible)
Routes dispatched Sunday–Thursday, Monday–Friday, or Tuesday–Saturday
1–2 layover routes possible per week
Mondays, Sundays, and Saturdays are lighter delivery days
Must be comfortable with night driving
Average Weekly Miles: 1,700–1,800 miles
Pay: $0.46 CPM (max pay $0.57) + stop pay
Stop Pay: $30 per stop (average 30 unloads per week)
Delay Pay: $17/hour after 2 hours (yard/office delays)
Weekly Minimum Guarantee: $1,300 (must work full week to qualify – sick/vacation days excluded)
Bonuses:
New Hire Transition Bonus: $500 (paid in full on 2nd paycheck)
Newer model Kenworths & Freightliners (2018 and newer)
53' trailers with lift gates, sleeper-equipped for occasional layovers
Electric pallet jacks provided for store deliveries
Mix of drop-and-hook, driver unloads, and assisted unloads
Valid CDL A license
12 months of recent tractor-trailer experience
Hazmat endorsement required
Must be comfortable driving at night
Must be able to work full scheduled week to receive guaranteed minimum pay
Average truck speed: 65 mph pedal & cruise
Routes require unloading at customer locations (Advance Auto stores)
Drivers will maintain a route book with delivery details
