Join our team of many long term employees at The Oaks Club.! This is a full time position (40 hours per week, 8 hour shifts). We are seeking a full time Carpenter to perform a variety of skilled work in facility maintenance and repair. This position requires extensive and precise finished and rough carpentry. This includes maintaining and repairing walls, floors, ceilings, doors window and door frames, tables, chairs and other wooden articles using maintenance tools (hand and power tools). Build and prepare props for events and functions; this includes other carpentry projects using table and miter saws and routers. 12-15 years of Experience is desired. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform strenuous work; lifting, pushing/pulling, bending stooping and climbing (ladders) is required. Valid Florida drivers license with a satisfactory driving record. Ability to safely operate tools and equipment used in building maintenance including scaffolds, ladders and powerlifts. Working knowledge of the standard methods, practices, tools and equipment used in a variety of building maintenance trades. Golf and tennis privileges for all employees.!
