Position: Carpenter, Maintenance (U.S. Citizenship required)

Location: Silverdale, WA

AIM World Services is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The Maintenance Carpenter is responsible for constructing, installing, maintaining, and repairing wood-based structures and fixtures across a variety of facilities. This includes work on building frameworks, concrete forms, cabinetry, drywall, doors, and trim. The position requires a high level of skill in both rough and finished carpentry, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team under general supervision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform skilled carpentry work, including constructing, repairing, and maintaining wood structures such as partitions, doors, floors, stairs, frameworks, and cabinetry.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and verbal instructions to determine material requirements and installation procedures.
• Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely and effectively.
• Build and install cabinets, doors, window and door frames, and other wood components.
• Repair or replace damaged framework or structures, including drywall and siding.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel as needed to complete multidisciplinary projects.
• Perform incidental work in related trades when required.
• Document work completed and maintained records as directed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Timely completion of assigned projects with attention to quality and cost-efficiency.
• Accurate reporting and record-keeping.
• Maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor in all work-related interactions.
• Compliance with all safety policies, company procedures, and government regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 4 years of verifiable experience in the carpentry trade.
• Experience with cabinetwork and concrete formwork required.
• Must own and maintain basic hand tools of the trade.
• Valid Washington State driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in various environments.
• Must pass all required background checks and drug testing.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Must be able to meet physical and security requirements, including respirator qualification, if applicable.
• Must obtain and maintain explosive certification if assigned to ordnance operations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

• Frequently required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crawl.
• Regular exposure to loud noises, dust, and varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to work in confined spaces and at heights as necessary.
