Job Description:

• This role ensures that more intricate accounts are properly billed, reconciled, and that any outstanding payments are collected, maintaining accuracy within the core system and supporting overall client satisfaction.
• Successful execution of these responsibilities requires collaboration and communication with internal teams—including accounts, subscribers, finance, and systems—as well as engagement with external contacts.

Responsibilities:

• Responds to complex patient billing inquiries via phone or written communication in a timely and professional manner.
• Reviews billing documentation to verify accuracy and completeness prior to submission to insurance payers.
• Supports the creation of monthly billing statements and accounts receivable summaries.
• Assists with resolving intricate billing concerns, including reaching out to insurance providers to verify patient eligibility and referral details.
• Ensures accurate and prompt entry of insurance, demographic, and eligibility details collected from patients into the system.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Over 3 years of experience in billing, membership enrollment, member services, claims operations, or finance roles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at an advanced level.
• Strong customer service skills with a proven focus on achieving departmental goals.
• Ability to work effectively in deadline-driven, results-oriented environments.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt and perform essential job functions with minimal supervision.
