The Bar Lead/Manager is responsible for overseeing daily bar operations, supporting bartenders, ensuring excellent guest service, and maintaining a high standard of beverage quality and presentation. This role acts as a bridge between management and bar staff, ensuring smooth workflow, compliance with regulations, and a positive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, train, and support bar staff to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
Oversee daily bar operations, including opening/closing procedures, inventory, cleanliness, and spec guides.
Monitor beverage quality, consistency, and presentation.
Maintain stock levels, place orders, and manage supplier relationships.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Assist with menu development, cocktail creation, and promotions.
Track sales performance and suggest improvements to increase revenue.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a bartender; supervisory/leadership experience required.
Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Certification in responsible alcohol service.
