Your Role

You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing automated systems that drive efficiency and accuracy in our distribution processes. You will report to the Automation Manager.

Your Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair automated machinery and control systems used in warehouse operations
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on conveyor systems, robotic arms, PLCs, and sensors
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues in automation equipment
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement system upgrades and process improvements
  • Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements to improve throughput and reduce downtime
  • Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, calibrations, and system modifications
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational protocols

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in automation within a warehouse or logistics environment
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field
  • Proficiency in PLC programming, HMI interfaces, and industrial networking
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical schematics, and control logic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and automated storage/retrieval systems (AS/RS) is a plus
  • Familiarity with robotics integration and IoT technologies is a plus.
  • Certifications in industrial automation or safety compliance (e.g., OSHA, ISA) is a plus
