Responsibilities:

• Utilize AutoCAD software to develop construction drawings for fiber optic and telecommunications infrastructure projects.
• Design OSP routes while incorporating plat maps, parcel maps, and third-party utilities into project plans.
• Research and analyze local jurisdictions, utility databases, and permitting requirements to ensure compliance with city, county, state, and local municipality regulations.
• Conduct site surveys, review field data, and translate notes into accurate CAD drawings for conduit and fiber placement.
• Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to develop make-ready designs and pole loading assessments as needed.
• Requirements & Qualifications: Experience in telecommunications and fiber required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD with at least 1+ year of experience in OSP design and drafting.
• Strong understanding of OSP design principles, including plat maps, parcel maps, and third-party utility coordination.
• Ability to research and interpret local permitting and right-of-way requirements.
• Knowledge of make-ready engineering and pole attachment design is a plus.
• Self-motivated with strong time management skills to meet project deadlines efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within teams and with clients.
