Job Title: Associate Technician

Pay Rate: $18–$20/hour (W2)

Location: Onsite – Lithia Springs, GA 30122

Employment Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Eastern Time)

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Associate Technician for an onsite opportunity in Lithia Springs, GA. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire role with the potential for full-time conversion based on performance and business needs. The ideal candidate will have strong technical troubleshooting skills, a background in electronics, and solid experience working with computers and the Microsoft Office suite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform hardware and software troubleshooting, testing, and repair of electronic devices according to approved service manuals and company specifications.
• Diagnose issues down to the sub-assembly level using service software, technical tools, and test equipment (flow meter, manometer, digital voltage meter, oscilloscope).
• Document technical findings and customer-reported issues in a complaint tracking system, including resolutions and follow-up actions.
• Follow company policies related to service verification, issue escalation, and complaint handling.
• Stay informed about updates to product specifications and service protocols across a wide range of medical device products.

What We’re Looking For:

• 1–2 years of technical education, certification, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Proven experience in a technical service or repair environment.
• Understanding of ISO and FDA compliance standards (preferred).
• Familiarity with ESD practices and safe handling of electronics.
• Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using diagnostic tools such as flow meters, voltage meters, and oscilloscopes.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively under pressure.
• Excellent troubleshooting and documentation abilities.
• Typing speed of 35–50+ words per minute.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• This is a hands-on role that may involve exposure to moving mechanical parts and occasional risk of electrical shock.
• The work environment is typically moderate in noise level.

Additional Information:

• While overtime is not typically required, occasional weekday overtime may be offered on a voluntary basis.
• Weekend work is not expected.
