Purpose of Job:

The Associate Channel Marketing Manager will be responsible for supporting the top tier national accounts in developing marketing strategies and initiatives to meet sales growth objectives. This position will assist in the execution of marketing programs and promotional projects supporting our battery program in consumer-facing channels, including, but not limited to: visual merchandising displays, marketing collateral, digital & social campaigns, and sales training development.

Job Components:

  • Assists the Channel Marketing Manager with developing marketing strategies based on channel requirements to generate growth and gain new business.
  • Provides strategic thinking, actionable insights, and marketing recommendations that generates brand awareness and contributes to sales growth.
  • Collaborates with Category Manager and Channel Marketing Manager to translate data and insights into strategic, integrated marketing programs including advertising, incentives, and customer programs to drive sales.
  • Communicates with the National Account team and customers to process their requests in a timely manner and within budget.
  • Develops formal marketing / business review presentation decks and able to present in customer meetings
  • Works closely with the creative services department to provide project input and strategic direction on initiatives and to ensure deadlines and budget are met. This will require:
  • Submitting well-thought creative marketing briefs
  • Using in-house project management platforms (i.e. Workfront)
  • Facilitates marketing materials for tradeshows and customer events

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university required.
  • 5+ years of Brand Marketing/Advertising experience. OE Marketing experience a plus.
  • Leadership skills: Ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional team
  • Analytical skills: Ability to link strategies and objectives to develop a plan
  • Strong creative problem solver: Ability to navigate complex challenges while establishing and attaining high standards
  • Excellent communication skills: Must demonstrate the ability to send and receive information clearly and concisely throughout a matrix organization
  • Strong teamwork skills: Possess exceptional group facilitation skills with a team-oriented attitude
  • Strong planning/organizing skills: Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while staying organized
  • Proficient Computer skills: Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook), Adobe
  • High sense of urgency

Work Environment:

  • Regularly required to use hands to grasp or handle, talk and hear.
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move 20+ lbs.
  • 25% - 35% travel (Around 5-6 days per month)
