Assistant Estimator – Commercial Construction

Location: Charlotte, NC

Salary: $75,000 – $100,000 base + full benefits package

I am working with a Charlotte-based general contractor to help them hire an Assistant Estimator. This team focuses on both ground-up and interior commercial projects. What You’ll Be Doing:

• Support the estimating team in preparing take-offs, budgets, and detailed cost estimates
• Review drawings and specs for both interior and ground-up commercial projects
• Work with subcontractors to obtain and evaluate pricing
• Assist with bid proposals and help manage bid schedules and deadlines
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers and Senior Estimators during preconstruction
• Use Procore to support estimating and project tracking processes

What We’re Looking For:

• 1–3 years of experience in estimating commercial construction projects
• Exposure to both interior renovations and ground-up builds is required
• Experience using Procore
• Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
