Architecture and Engineering Team Lead Location Remote :

Job Summary: A&E Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the A&E project managers, directing the drafting team, reviewing construction documents (CDs) and redlines, and preparing Levels of Effort (LoE) for project scopes. This role ensures that all architectural and engineering projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Task Assignment: Assign tasks to A&E project managers based on project requirements and team capacity.
  • Team Supervision: Monitor and direct the operations of the drafting team, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality output.
  • Document Review: Review construction documents (CDs) and redlines to ensure accuracy, compliance with standards, and alignment with project goals.
  • LoE Preparation: Prepare Levels of Effort (LoE) for project scopes, providing detailed estimates of time, resources, and costs required.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure all deliverables meet the required standards.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve project-related issues promptly to avoid delays and cost overruns.
  • Training and Development: Provide guidance and training to team members to enhance their skills and performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.(Preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in architecture or engineering project management.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of construction documents, drafting processes, and project management methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Project).

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP).
  • Experience with Agile or Lean methodologies.
  • Familiarity with building codes and regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $5,000.00 - $6,000.00 per month
